Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry? Alex Shattuck State Farm is seeking a motivated Intern / Appointment Setter to join our team! This entry-level role is perfect for someone eager to develop communication and customer service skills while learning about the insurance business. We support your growth—insurance licensing fees and coursework are covered for candidates interested in becoming licensed but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Contact existing and potential clients to schedule appointments for insurance reviews, policy updates, and new applications
- Maintain accurate records of scheduled appointments and follow-up calls
- Assist the sales team by ensuring their calendars are well-organized and full
- Provide friendly and professional customer interactions
Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication and people skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and motivated
- Comfortable making outbound calls (training provided)
- No prior experience required—just a willingness to learn!
